Work Ready Program

Our two day work ready program develops employability skills and confidence to stand out and thrive in the workplace. Run each school holidays this program focusses on learning in a fun, hands on and collaborative environment.

Schools Based Trainees

We provide opportunities for School Based Trainees to complete a Certificate III in Business, Administration or Accounts Administration through paid employment.

Our School Based Trainee Programs provide Schools with an alternative to the completely online approach delivered by some Registered Training Organisations.

Students receive a trainer / mentor who is accessible to them and the school as they are needed. They regularly check in with them to ensure that they are not struggling and understand the material. They can attend scheduled workshops for all of their units and can come to any of our tutorial days where trainers are available to assist them. They receive access to an online portal and a Tutorial Room closed Facebook group where they can collaborate with trainers and other learners in a collaborative social learning environment.

The School is kept informed on progress and any issues at all times and receive a semester report card so that there are no unexpected surprises.

BSB50215 Diploma of Business

The Diploma of Business provides senior school students with an opportunity to complete a Nationally Recognised Business Qualification that will assist in obtaining employment, facilitate university selection and provide credit towards university.

This is an exciting opportunity for students wishing to explore an alternative pathway into university as this qualifications provides an equivalent selection rank score of between an OP 8-10.

The Diploma of Business is completed over 12 months and is accessible to students in Grade 10, 11 and 12. Lessons are weekly during the school term for 3 hours on a Wednesday Afternoon at the Learning Partnerships Campus.
Depending on numbers and demand Learning Partnerships can deliver at School and Regionally.

When completing the Diploma of Business students also participate in the Work Ready Program.

Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to provide real world, hands on training, face to face workshops, ongoing trainer support  so that students are developing real competencies and can enter the workforce confident in their abilities and knowledge.

We work closely with schools, VET Coordinators and parents to focus on the whole student to ensure that they receive the support necessary to thrive. From initial contact we will be there to support the school provide alternative pathways for their students whether it is parent information nights, report cards or volunteering at career development days in mock interviews.
