Learning Partnerships helps people in rural and remote areas increase their business skills, prepare for the workforce and find alternative pathways to university.

We have two programs to support people in rural and remote areas reach their education goals without without having to leave home or compromise on quality education or support at the ready.

  • We help students in years 10,11,12 complete a Diploma of Business along side their other school studies which can provide them with an OP equivalent of an 8-10.
  • We help people obtain Administration, small business, business, leadership and project management qualifications.

We don’t just provide online training we provide virtual training.

Our philosophy is to provide real world, hands on training, quality materials and face to face virtual collaboration with mentors, lecturers and classmates to face workshops, ongoing trainer support  so that students are developing real competencies and can enter the workforce or support the family business confident in their abilities and knowledge.

Programs for students in Year 10, 11 and 12

BSB50215 Diploma of Business

The Diploma of Business provides senior school students in rural and remote areas with an opportunity to complete a Nationally Recognised Business Qualification that will assist in obtaining employment, facilitate university selection and provide credit towards a Bachelor of Business.
Units in this Diploma are highly relevant to the changing and emerging needs of business.

This is an exciting opportunity for students wishing to explore an alternative pathway into university as this qualifications provides a an OP 9/10 and students can receive credit points towards a university degree.

The Diploma of Business is completed over 12 months and is accessible to students in Grade 10, 11 and 12. Students receive access to a comprehensive online portal full of quality materials and extra videos and lessons. Students receive weekly lessons via Facebook live tutorial sessions for all topics and are included in a Facebook tutorial group that provides collaboration with mentors, lecturers and classmates and a full library of resources.

When completing the Diploma of Business students can also participate in the Work Ready Program which is an on campus intensive program on school holidays.

Trainees

We provide opportunities for School Based Trainees to complete a Certificate III in Business, Administration or Accounts Administration through paid employment.

Our School Based Trainee Programs provide Schools with an alternative to the completely online approach delivered by some Registered Training Organisations.

Students receive a trainer / mentor who is accessible to them and the school as they are needed. They regularly check in with them to ensure that they are not struggling and understand the material. They can attend scheduled Facebook live tutorials (Or come to town for lectures) for all of their units a. They receive access to an online portal and a Tutorial Room closed Facebook group where they can collaborate with trainers and other learners in a collaborative social learning environment.

All of our Certificate III, Certificate IV and Diploma qualifications can be undertaken remotely.
